Space Rock
So I was thinking. If my ship sunk and I got stranded on that mythical blob of sand with only one genre of music on that 200gb MP3 player I had conveniently managed to water proof and bring ashore what would I choose ?
Out of all the musical themes I can browse through on my one terabyte plus of storage, which would I select to keep me sane (well ok maybe slightly less insane) while I waited for the luxury yacht of rescue to sail past one sunny evening.
Quite simple really. I'd bypass the reggae and dub, the indie and the metal, even the ambient and chill section would only receive a regretful sigh as I passed. I'd want my space rock. My Hawkwind, Ozrics, Acid Mothers, Farflung and the rest all boogieing off into the furthest reaches of the cosmos, taking the listener along for the ride.
Cant think of a nicer way to while away the time breaking open coconuts, and waiting for that yacht.

Chantel McGregor opens my new look blog
Well kind of !
Decided to change the template around and redo stuff, then I couldnt think of anything to put up.
Until I discovered an amazing guitarist called Chantel McGregor this afternoon and was blown away enough to order a CD and grab some tickets to see her at the good old Robin in Bilston.
Some Jethro Tull awesomeness - sure wish they played it like this these days :)
